1 Corinthians 2-4
Observation: What a change that takes place when we come to know Christ. Things that were previously foolish become precious. We get to say we have the mind of Christ!
Question: In 4:3 is Paul saying he doesn’t concern himself with whether or not he is obedient (I don’t judge myself)? I think as we read Paul’s writings that it is clear that he was extremely committed to following God. He thought about it a great deal. Perhaps here he is saying that he knows even his own assessment of himself is faulty. As such, his job is to seek God and he knows he ultimately has to leave judgment to God.
Application: I want to be diligent to make sure I am building with gold, silver, and costly stones so that what I invest my life in to serve the Lord remains.
Prayer: Lord, help me to be found faithful as a manager You task with responsibilities.

Paul established the church at Corinth in 50 AD. He wrote the first letter to the Corinthians three to four years later. He admonished his readers for still being in the milk stage of their Christian growth and more concerned with the things of the world than the things of God. Where are we in our walk with Jesus? Are we committed, or just when convenient?
