Hebrews 10-12
When I read through what is known as the Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11, I am reminded that I don’t always see things the way God does. I definitely would not have Jephthah in this list. It is a good reminder for me to look at myself and others from God’s perspective.

Hebrews 10:5-7 comes from Psalm 40: 6-8. These verses confirm that it was God’s intention from the very beginning that the daily sacrifices were not sufficient to absolve his people of their sins. Yet they pointed the way to the sacrifice of God’s Son and the New Covenant of faith in His death, burial and resurrection.
