In Chapter 18: 4-5, a voice from heaven sends a final warning to anyone still involved with Babylon to get out before the city is destroyed. We should find it hard to believe that any followers of Jesus would be in that situation. When we read later in the chapter (verses 11-20) about how the world laments the loss of the commercial benefits of doing business with Babylon we recognize the danger of placing comfort and financial stability ahead of our relationship with God and our Savior Jesus Christ.
