Living in Relationship with Christians

A church word for living in relationship with other Christians is fellowship.  We strive for Biblical fellowship at Beulah.  In the early church, Christians lived in community in such a way that they shared all they had, even selling houses and land, to assure that the needs of all their fellow believers were met.  That is true fellowship.  We want to be a Christian community where others will see the love of Jesus displayed in our midst (John 13:34, 35).  To do this we encourage members to commit to one another in fellowship, seeing all they have (time, talents, treasure) as gifts from God, given to meet the needs of others.
How do you connect in fellowship in this way?  First, everyone needs to be involved in a Sunday school class.  This is a smaller environment where groups of adults can study the Bible, pray for each other, and impact the world together.  For a list of Sunday school classes, click here.
Second, we encourage members to gather in smaller groups for regular prayer.
Third, we encourage our people to grow in stewardship of their time, talent, and treasure in order to meet needs with what God has given them.  It all belongs to God and He wants us to use what He gives us to help others.  One tool we have to assist members in identifying their spiritual gifts and other aspects as to how God created them to server others is a SHAPE inventory.  You can get a PDF version of that tool by contacting us.
